BSTR Meme Contest - Round 1

Alright, Busters! We are getting revved up for the relaunch of the Based Buster Coin.

To get this project running strong we need to fill up our tank with the high-octane meme fuel that will make sure all of X hears us coming from blocks away!

Since $BSTR is a car-culture community meme coin (well, technically a governmeme coin) it’s only fitting that we tap our followers and community members to be our meme engineers.

We invite everyone to design and submit original memes to help promote the coming $BSTR token relaunch, and to incentivize your creativity we’re offering a prize pool of $500 and over 2.5M $BSTR to the winning entries!

Submissions are open from Friday August 2nd to Friday August 23rd. That means you have 3 weeks to pump out the absolute best car-themed memes you can muster. There is no limit to how many memes you can submit. The more you make, the better your odds.

Rules & Parameters

We are leaving this round wide open to allow you to flex your creativity. There are only a few rules to keep the memes on-brand.

1. The imagery must be automotive related. Extra points for Fast & Furious themed memes.

2. The messaging should promote $BSTR using funny car and/or web3 culture references.

3. At least one person featured in the meme must be wearing the based pixel glasses. You can download the assets here.

4. Include the cashtag $BSTR somewhere in the image. It can be part of the messaging, or just a watermark.

5. Try to use our brand’s font for all the text in your meme. Space Mono is provided in the assets library. This is preferred but not mandatory.

6. Participants must be a member of our Telegram community, and follow BasedBusterCoin, DRVNlabo, and Rext_Racer on 𝕏.

Tips & Ideas

Feel free to recycle popular memes, create new ones from movie scenes, or design them from scratch using AI. Both static images and animated gifs are fair game.

• Apply the Brian O'Connor “Buster” head with glasses to any non-car related meme template.

• Run an image through an AI app to give it a new look and feel, or even animate it. FYI, given our affinity for JDM cars, we like anime style images.

• Screen capture scenes from racing events, TV shows and movies to make fresh memes.

• Can’t think of anything clever? Whip up a good old “HODL!” or “LFG!” meme.

If you don’t know how to create a meme from scratch, here are a few easy-to-use tools that will help you create just about anything you can come up with.

Rewards

Inspired by the F1 points system, we will be rewarding the top 10 meme contributors from a prize pool of $500 and over 2.5 Million $BSTR tokens. Each participant can only win one position within the top 10, ensuring a fair prize distribution.

How to Submit Your Memes

Submit eligible memes in two simple steps.

1. Post your meme on 𝕏 and mention @basedbustercoin, @DRVNlabo, and @reXt_racer. Also include $BSTR and #bstrmemecontest.
   (Make sure you are following all three accounts as well)

2. Join our Telegram channel and drop a link to your post on 𝕏.

Judging

The winners will be chosen by a combination of team selection plus community input.

Ultimate decisions will be made by the DRVN Labo team, but you can increase your odds by rallying your followers to show their support for your submission.

All eligible meme submissions will be posted for engagement-based feedback in a mega-thread on 𝕏. Your job is to generate engagement for your submissions by having your follower like, comment, and repost the entry. Those with the highest engagement will get special consideration during our final selection process.

We will be judging based on messaging, humor, and originality. Don’t sweat if you’re not an artist. They don’t need to be masterpieces.

Timeline

Submission window is Friday 8/2 to Monday 8/26

Entries will be posted for engagement-based voting starting Tuesday 8/27

Winners will be selected on Thursday 8/29
