Daily DRVN #10
đ˘ Speed bumps, detours, and roadblock. Still, gonna get there.
Hey, DRVRs. Have you ever noticed that sometimes, being driven just isnât enough? You can put the pedal to the metal and just find yourself burning out (in more ways than one).
Today you get a candid take on whatâs going on under the hood of DRVN Culture. With 10 issues and nearly as many articles under my belt, you may be just now getting to know me. Hopefully, my passion for the automotive lifestyle shines through. What you donât see is that my standard for quality is very high, and my bandwidth to execute is currently, very low. A conundrum, for sure.
DRVN Culture is my outlet to fully indulge in a world that I love, with the very real possibility of turning it into a genuine revenue stream. But lately, life has been throwing me detours⌠Flu stricken dogs and 2 cat surgeries. A herniated disk and poor sleep. All while trying to land some MUCH needed work, with absolutely ZERO luck. So rather than fighting the traffic, from now on I am gonna go with the flow.
Whether youâre building a car or a business (Iâm doing both) there are bound to be times in which every nut is cross-thread, and every opportunity is an oil slick. This is one of those times. Iâm determined to turn this publication into the high-performance machine I envision. But for the coming months, I am going to do things a little differently around here. Read on for the full details.
In this Edition of Daily DRVN

I didnât beat myself up if I didnât meet that goal. But as my time became more strained, not only was I moving further away from that mark, but the quality of the posts wasnât meeting my standards either. I was curating an entire issue in a single day as if I was going to do the same thing tomorrow. Itâs not that they were getting worse. They just werenât getting better.
With this being said, starting today the Daily DRVN newsletter will become a weekly publication, going out every Saturday morning. The name wonât change. Even a daily driver doesnât see the road 5+ days a week. But the cadence will, for now. What will change is the quality of each post should increase significantly. Thatâs a win I will take, and a standard both you and I can be in favor of
So, welcome to the first edition of Daily DRVN Weekly.
