If you have been paying attention, we’ve been dropping hints that DRVN is working towards something much larger than this humble publication. Readers of DRVN Culture will always be the first to know. Which is why, if you haven’t already, you will want to subscribe.

Today, we drop the alpha on what we are building. The DRVN/VHCLS Real-World Asset platform! Rather than spilling the beans here, why don’t you go have a look for yourself.

The Motorverse

AMA Highlights

Earlier today, The Motorverse held their first AMA on their Discord server. This Q&A was packed full of alpha that any self-respecting automotive web3 enthusiast will want to have on their radar.

To save you the time of going back through it it pick out all the nuggets, I compiled all the alpha into one authoritative list. (You’re welcome)

The Motorverse Hub and the next big mint

• The much anticipated Lite Paper is arriving within a week here!

• First vehicle mint coming in Q2. The vehicles will work in 2 titles at launch as well as the Motorverse (TM) hub, and is designed to work in any games that adopt the new Motorverse metadata standard.

• Within the hub, users will be able to browse and explore new content, games and experiences related to the ecosystem. In addition there will be a Motorverse account that will enable players to access their own garage and presumably the showrooms of other players.

The Motorverse Ecosystem

• A new open Motorverse metadata standard is coming, that means anyone will be able to adopt it and and then sell or use interoperable vehicles. Small or large developers are welcome to build for the ecosystem.

• TM is working internally on multiple games of different genres as well as connecting existing games. This includes with 3rd party games and projects.

• The Torqies collection (Torque Squad PFPs) have been built in VX, for use in The Sandbox. However, currently TSB has some limitations round driving physics, so the experience will be released once this is addressed.

• Many additional utilities for Torqies are in the works. This includes integrating into the various TM games. Like the recent staking program, Torqies will be utilized in new ways across the ecosystem. They are a high level of access to the Motorverse for the meta game around rewards, game access and future drops.

• REVV Racing: There are three major items currently being developed.

  1. A new game build, that is the version currently seen in test center. This includes a flying start feature, revamped driving UIs, and licensing of several new tracks.

  2. RR will be updated to use the Motorverse metadata standard. This doesn't just mean yet another 1:1 copy to a new contract, but something much bigger.

  3. Reworking the whole gameplay, to expand beyond just single events with leaderboards.

• F1 Delta Time: A hard yet valuable lesson was learned when the game was shut down in early 2022.

  • A compensation package is in the works to address the financial loss of participants. This is a big priority for the TM team.

REVV Token

• TM will be introducing a staking & rewards program for REVV as part of their new XP system on the hub. More info on this will be found in the Lite Paper. The ultimate goal is to have the rewards program work across all the games in the Motorverse.

• REVV token price action will be mostly left up to the market, with the exception of some ongoing DEX liquidity management.

• Relationships and communications with centralized exchanges are open. It appears TM is relying on increased attention from the ecosystem to entice CEXs to list REVV.

Marketing and Community Growth

• TM is speaking with some of the top KOLs on X. In the next few days they will be announcing their first influencer partnership.

• A lot more events like NFT Paris and WOW HK are on the calendar. Next one up is Dubai and Riyadh during Token2049.

• Lots more AMAs and collabs with top web3 projects are coming soon.

• TM is considering starting IRL community meetups.

The Motorverse is at WOW Summit Hong Kong

As mentioned above, The Motorverse is upping their visibility by attending many of the top Web3 industry events around the world. They are just now wrapping up at WOW Hong Kong. We’re hoping to get the inside scoop on how it went, which we may bring you in a feature article. Until then, here are some shots from the event.

Race2Earn Liveries Sport a New, Yet Familiar Logo

The Race2Earn program from Drive Coin Club and Secret DR/VR Club has added their new partner to the livery package. You guessed it, DRVN Culture!

Here is the first car to use the full set graphics. If you compete in iRacing or watch live streams of the action, keep an eye out for this Skip Barber 2000 racecar.

This shot from an iRacing NASCAR driver was also just leaked on X.

We’re looking forward to being an ongoing contributor to the growth of web3 in sim racing. Exciting times are ahead!

Vext Zealy Challenges for $20k in Rewards

Everywhere you look, web3 projects are rewarding their users with airdrops! Finally, this trend has made its way to the automotive web3 community. Veloce and VEXT token are the latest to join the fray with their Zealy campaign, where participants will share in $20,000 in rewards.

The latest updates to Torque Drift 2 have been well received. Their tow latest videos show why TD2 is, and will continue to be the ultimate AAA drifting sim experience.

OBS World Airdop Confirmed. Here’s How to Earn!

If you thought $20k in VEXT rewards was sweet, OBS World (The Metaverse for petrol heads) is upping the ante with a whopping $50K airdrop of $OBSW tokens. Open from March 26th through April 16th. See their official announcement on X for all the details.
