Daily DRVN #33

We're living up to the name! + Our Ferrari arrives, The Motorverse answers "Wen Lambo", and Assetto Corsa for all

Welcome in, Driver.

If you’ve been a reader of the Daily DRVN Newsletter for some time, then you’ll know I try to pack in as much value as I can into each issue. Maybe, sometimes too much.

Every week it’s both a daunting task, yet extremely satisfying to publish.

It’s kind of like running a 200 shot of nitrous on a stock engine. It’s a damn effective, though ill-advised way to get a lot of performance out of your machine. But each time you push that button you’re praying the piston rings survive.

Or in this case, my sanity.

That said, moving forward we’ll be experimenting with a different format, with a focus on efficiently building for the long term. Like weening off the bottle in exchange for a well-tuned turbo setup.

Why are we doing this?

It all started with the desire to add even more content to newsletters and beyond. For one, I want to begin featuring more IRL car culture content to compliment the onchain automotive vehicle news.

(After all, our love for cars come from the real physical things. Not just pixels on a screen… or metadata on the blockchain.)

Additionally, I have begun producing more media under the DRVN Culture banner, and intend to continue to expand and refine that content, including:

  • Deep dive articles featuring projects in the automotive web3 space

  • Magazine-style features of member’s rides

  • At least two videogame/sim racing livestreams per week

  • The DRVN Culture Report Friday livestream

  • Interviews with project founders, pro sim racers, and car culture personalities

  • A weekly podcast with DRVN Labo founding partner, Josh Juhasz. Our Director of Vehicle Ops, and owner of the JDM dealership, Revhard Motors.

  • Introducing a highly produced YouTube series inspired by Donut Media and Adam LZ.

Then, factor in that I’m also in the process of building the DRVN/VHCLS RWA app, and relaunching our governmeme token, $BSTR. As you can imagine, continual optimization is a must.

So here we are. At a fork in the road.

The vision for DRVN Culture is much more than a newsletter. It’s a full-blown automotive media empire. But the more time I spend creating expansive weekly digest emails, the less time I have to grow the other content pillars, as well as the DRVN Labo ecosystem.

Where does that put us?

Starting today, the daily Daily DRVN Newsletter will return to its original intention, as the name implies. A daily newsletter, published Monday through Friday.

This will be a much more succinct and digestible publication that is exclusive to subscribers. I’m aiming to share no more than 3 topics per post that will take well under 5 minutes to read.

The daily content will be compiled into a weekly digest similar to the current Daily DRVN newsletter format, and published every Sunday.

Subs can opt to receive either the daily, weekly, or both publications to suit your reading preferences.

But wiat, there’s more!

This adjustment is a first step in our move towards offering greater value to our subscribers.

Premium Memberships

Soon we will introduce a members-only side to the brand. Premium subscribers can look forward to exclusive content, alpha, contests and partner offers, monthly $BSTR rewards and referral-based multipliers, airdrops and merch, VIP pre-sale access to purchase fractional shares of cars from the DRVN/VHCLS collection, and membership to the most cutting-edge decentralized car club in the world.

More details on this are coming soon.

New DRVN Culture Website

To bring this all together we will be moving DRVN Culture to a new website better suited for the tsunami of incoming content, and as a firm foundation for various community-centric features.

The current DRVN Culture website will be moved to a subdomain, solely focusing on the newsletter.

We anticipate that the changes will take a couple months to roll out. But what will begin immediately is the new truly daily Daily DRVN Newsletter.

So, here is a taste of the newly distilled daily format.

Also, please let us know what you think. Excited for the change? Looking forward to our premium membership? Think we’re headed in the wrong direction? We invite you to reply to this email, or @ us on 𝕏!
