We launched a podcast!

Time to take our content up a gear with the official pod of DRVN Labo.

This is the next step in our journey to making DRVN Culture a dominant player in the automotive media arena. A weekly podcast discussing the latest news across the IRL, online, and onchain car culture.

Join me (Rex) and our Co-Founder, Josh in the first episode of the Money Shift Podcast, as we set the stage by sharing who we are, where our car obsession came from, and what we have in store for the pod.

More Torque Drift 2 tuning tips

There’s always room to improve your sim drifting game. So break out the note pad and racing rig. It’s time for class.

Angle kits play a vital role in enhancing steering angles for larger drift capabilities. By adjusting the angle, players can effectively influence both drifting and turning dynamics. Additionally, front toe convergence and rear toe adjustments significantly impact drift stability and traction. Moreover, camber settings, especially rear camber, greatly affect traction and grip. Understanding the impact of these adjustments is essential for optimizing performance in Torque Drift 2.

Watch the video below for the full details. If you want to get the most out of your ride you’ll want to take notes on the following points.

• Angle kits increase steering angle for larger drift angles

• Adjusting the angle affects drifting and turning

• Adjust front toe for drifting purposes

• Rear toe and front camber adjustment for better traction.

• Angle kits improve grip and control

• Set rear camber around 0° for maximum contact patch

• Set rear camber to 0.5 to 1 for better grip

• Higher kingpin angle leads to stronger self-centering effect

Delorean in Web3: DMC is officially back, with an eye to the future

Web3, or “Onchain” experiences are still a few years from the mainstream, but brands that embrace it now will be positioned to capture the imagination of the next generations.

Way back in issue 53 we broke that DeLorean was potentially going to be announcing something with the Motorverse, this week at the TOKEN 2049 conference.

After a little more digging I discovered they have spun up an X account in August for their new web3 experience devision, @DeLoreanLabs.

To be honest, I just stumbled upon this post…

But the fact remains, this confirms that they definitely thinking ahead with this move into web3. And should they be partnering with the Motorverse, I’d call that a match made in car heaven.

Scratch that…

As I was preparing to post this newsletter the news dropped! DMC is officially partnering with The Motorverse and Animoca Brands!!!
