A New Road for DRVN Culture
Join us for a scenic detour into the heart of Web3 car culture
After taking a short hiatus from writing the DRVN Culture blog/newsletter I am ready to get this thing revving once again! Now, with a renewed spark to create a publication that stands out in the automotive world and brings enthusiasts together, I am excited to share the next chapter for DRVN.
Time to fling this bad boy in a whole new direction.
While I was out I spent a lot of time reflecting on what I can bring to the automotive culture that does not already exist. There are a thousand-and-one blogs and publications out there writing about the newest models, motorsport events, and custom builds. They’re great, but do we need another one?
During this time I also started focusing much more on my other publication, which is more aligned with my career in the web3 industry, The Wei. A community-driven newsletter dedicated to hunting down the best alpha (early insights), top headlines, and emerging trends in the space.
Then it hit me!
There is a whole sub-genre within the web3 world that is building a vibrant virtual car culture. These communities are tight-knit, incredibly active, and building some amazing experiences for car lovers. However, news is siloed within each project community, and X (twitter) can be way too chaotic to fully stay up-to-date on everything that’s happening in our little slice of web3.
With that revelation, I have decided to partner DRVN Culture with The Wei, turning this publication into the premier source of Web3 Automotive Culture news and stories. A graceful blend of digital and IRL car culture that celebrates automotive communities in the 21st century.
Moving forward, here are some of the things you can expect from DRVN Culture and the Daily DRVN newsletter.
Weekly recaps of news, events, and announcements from across the automotive NFT space.
Deep dives into new and existing projects in our niche.
Spotlights on the vehicles and project builds from members of various communities.
Early alpha, or tips, on how you can get into new projects in the space, along with the occasional WL opportunity.
My commentary on IRL automotive and motorsport news.
Updates on upcoming projects we are cooking up for the automotive web3 space.
Thank you to all of our existing subscribers, and I hope you will continue to come along for the ride. However, if Web3 isn’t your thing, no hard feelings.
Over the next couple of weeks I will be realigning the design, information, and content of DRVN Culture to fit our new direction. For now, if you see something out of place, just know I will get it sorted.
I can’t wait to introduce you to the vibrant digital underworld of web3 car culture with you!
If like me, you have a passion for cars, crypto, NFTs and motorsport videogames I invite you to subscribe.

Finally, if you are a web3 geek you’ll definitely want to check out The Wei.
